This eclectic mix of design styles—featuring open shelving, glass inserts, and mismatched backsplashes—has been thoughtfully transformed into a clean, minimal, and cohesive rustic-industrial space. By removing the upper cabinets, incorporating high-end appliances and mixed metals, and eliminating the wooden beadboard ceiling, the kitchen now exudes an open, airy feel that makes for an exceptional and functional workspace.
This oak kitchen originally featured a basic floor plan, an awkwardly shaped island, and little design inspiration. By removing the corner pantry, adding enhanced lighting, and updating the cabinetry to a crisp white, the space now feels significantly larger and brighter. The new layout not only highlights the kitchen’s height and overall dimensions but also increases storage and creates a more functional, inviting environment
for cooking.
After nine years of struggling with the layout, the homeowners finally decided to bring their dream kitchen to life. We introduced a functional eat-in island, installed 39" upper cabinets for added storage and visual height, and relocated the microwave to optimize workflow—all resulting in a beautifully efficient and impressive space.
By removing a dividing wall, incorporating a central island, installing taller inset cabinetry, and replacing the lighting with elegant glass pendants, this New York kitchen was transformed—doubling its sense of space and creating a timeless design that elevates the aesthetic of the entire home.
Opening up the fridge wall unlocked an entirely new world of possibilities for this couple’s kitchen. We reimagined the space with a blend of farmhouse charm and nautical-inspired elements. The island was expanded for greater functionality, the cabinetry was extended to the ceiling for a more refined look, and we added generous work surfaces. Thoughtful architectural details around the sink and above the range brought character and cohesion, completely transforming the kitchen into a space that’s both beautiful and a joy to use.
